Chapter 1 in the storytelling with data textbook made me think of teaching others how to chat or give lectures about different types of information. I learned about the difference between a live presentation and a written document or e-mail. At a live presentation, you are in control of what the audience says, thinks, feels or sees whereas the audience is in control if it is a written document or e-mail. It taught me when to give information in a broad way and when to narrow it down to specific details. I found it helpful to learn about Storyboarding.
