Chapter 9 taught me how to organize my thoughts and put them in order when giving presentations. I gave presentations in a couple of my classes here at Benedictine University. I have not gotten nervous at all about standing up in front of the whole class and giving a presentation. I believe that most people who struggle with retelling stories, conceptualizing information, inferential skills, listening to fast pace spoken lectures, immediate or delayed recall get nervous about giving presentations in front of the whole class worrying that it will take them a long time to process that information or that they will make mistakes in what they say. Their audience around them would just encourage them to keep moving forward.
